Kangaroo Serigraph from "This Is My Story Both Humble And True" Series.

This is a rare or used book from the Berkelouw Rare Books Department.

N.P. (Bag One Arts Inc. 1987). The print is of a pink kangaroo with people jumping out of it's pouch. The pouch is a representation of the 'establishment' and the people jumping out of the pouch are running away from the strict regulations of society. Printed on Stonehenge paper by Novak Graphics artelier in Toronto Canada. John Lennon's personal chop mark and embossed signature on bottom right corner. Limited edition serigraph of 300 copies with 25 artists proofs and 6 printer proofs this being No. 78. Hand-signed by Yoko Ono Lennon in pencil. The print has been approved and endorsed by The Estate of John Lennon and personally authorised by Yoko Ono Lennon certificate of authenticity on back of frame. Print is 48 cm by 46 cm plus mount framed and glazed. NOTE: This piece was originally drawn by John Lennon in 1979.
